Typing Speed

The quiet part of any skill is the part nobody watches. A steady hand comes from a thousand ordinary repetitions, none of which felt like progress at the time. What looks like talent from the outside is usually just someone who kept showing up on the days it was dull. The work is rarely dramatic. It is a little attention, paid often, until the thing you were reaching for is simply where your hands already go.
